AtlantiCare, a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient and the largest healthcare system in southeastern New Jersey, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, AP/CP board-certified Surgical Pathologist, preferably with subspecialty training in breast and GI pathology, to join our established surgical team in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
This opportunity will allow you to utilize your extensive training and clinical expertise within a comprehensive medical setting with excellent clinical lab services and support staff and a collegial group of physicians and surgeons. We’re seeking a strong team player with diverse clinical experience.
This position requires:

NJ medical license is preferred
-
Approximately 40 hours per week
-
Minimal CP duties
-
On-call rotation once a month (most issues can be taken care of over the phone)

Minimal grossing as needed to support Pathologists' Assistant

Occasional medical autopsies (0-3 per pathologist per year) with support from an experienced diener

Non-gynecologic cytopathology experience preferred

Ability to travel between two hospital campuses as needed
