QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; bachelor's in nursing preferred. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of New Jersey required. BLS required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire and as designated by specialty below. Ability to effectively communicate with others and adjust to changes within daily schedule of activities required. Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in clinical applications preferred at time of hire. Incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, blood-borne pathogens (including exposure to infectious disease), hazardous substances and potential injury. This position works in a busy, noisy environment and has frequent interruptions requiring re-evaluation of priorities. This position requires standing for long periods of time, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds and walking short distances quickly.
