AtlantiCare has the flexibility to hire either a project manager or assistant project manager for this role, depending on years of experience.
The project manager will be responsible for all aspects of construction management from conception to occupancy. This includes ability to interface and communicate with all levels of staff within the organization, project professionals and regulatory agencies on a regular basis.
The project manager also demonstrates the ability to offer input on means to improve processes and control variables within the project scope.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required; degree concentration in construction preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Project manager (7-10 years of experience) or assistant project manager (5-7 years of experience. Candidates are required to communicate with all levels of staff within the facility, along with a proven ability to work with professionals, regulatory officials and contractors as needed to complete the project. Architectural drafting experience/ability to work with AutoCAD required.
This position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping and crouching a majority of the workday. Works with such equipment as a computer terminal, fax machine, printer and copier.
