The Program Manager of Partial Hospital Services is responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership. This clinical leadership position includes responding to client emergencies and overseeing the daily clinical operations of the partial hospital milieu. The program manager will also provide individual and group clinical supervision to assigned staff. The program manager is responsible for patient and staff safety; performance evaluations; disciplinary action; ensuring that clinical documentation of staff adheres to policy; and following and implementing all state, federal, JCAHO and other regulatory bodies' rules, standards and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Master's degree in a behavioral health field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Licensed in discipline in the state of New Jersey as an LSW or LIP. Heart Saver/CPR/AED/First Aid certification required within 6 months from date of hire. Certified Prevention Intervention preferred. Questions/Process/Report and Treat (QPRT) certification required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer.
EXPERIENCE: Five years of clinical experience with youth and two years of supervisory experience.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances and potential injury. This position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping and crouching a majority of the workday. Works with such equipment as a computer terminal, fax machine, printer and copier.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports to the President of Health Services and supervise the staff at the Acute Partial Care units.
