AtlantiCare — a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient and the largest healthcare system in southeastern New Jersey — has an exciting opportunity for a board-certified Family Medicine DO to join the core faculty of our Family Medicine Residency program in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Join a faculty team that will soon graduate its second class of four Family Medicine residents in this 4-4-4 residency program. This role will allow you to develop and implement a curriculum that enhances the clinical education and scholarly advancement for your residents in the hospital and a federally qualified health center (FQHC) outpatient clinic. This is a unique learning environment that will allow you to precept with residents as they oversee an assigned panel of patients in an FQHC continuity clinic. The new Family Medicine faculty physician will split time between teaching and providing direct patient care for patients at the FQHC clinic, as well as providing supervision of residents on the inpatient Family Medicine teaching service. They will also be responsible for ensuring the residency program maintains compliance with osteopathic recognition requirements, including managing ACGME reporting and overseeing site visits.
