In this full-time, hospital-based role, you will be supported by seven (7) private practice providers who serve Atlantic, Ocean and Cape May counties with a proven track record for well over 30 years. This division of Allied Digestive Health is partnered with the health system to provide full-service gastroenterology needs and actively participates in the call schedule, as well as both inpatient and outpatient care.
We're seeking a GI Hospitalist with exceptional regional skills who is eager to broaden their clinical expertise within our well-established and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Round to assess patients' conditions, monitor their progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Offer GI consults to evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders.

Refer patients to other medical professionals for added evaluation, diagnosis or treatment of conditions that are beyond the scope of gastroenterology.

Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies and other GI-related tests.

Manage patients with complex GI conditions, including those requiring hospitalization.

Work a Monday–Friday schedule.

6 calls per month.
