Operations Coordinator/Outreach Educator

Location: Atlantic City, NJ  |  Position Status: Full Time  |  Position Shift: Days
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of outreach education preferred; 2 years required.
  • Familiarity with family planning policies and procedures required.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead, train and perform with little supervision and frequent interruptions independently.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Coordinator/Outreach Educator for Family Planning will work in conjunction with the department leadership.

The Operations Coordinator/Outreach Educator will also provide administrative and clinical support to the department's management team with various functional responsibilities and assist with departmental goals, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the Family Planning program.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

This position will coordinate all aspects of the Family Planning and Sexual & Reproductive Health programs. including client care, education and community development.

This position will also coordinate communication, facilitation and collaboration between the Family Planning program and the New Jersey Family Planning League, as well as maintain all requirements of Title X education and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years of outreach education preferred; 2 years required. Familiarity with Family Planning policies and procedures required. Demonstrates the ability to lead, train and perform with little supervision and frequent interruptions independently. Proficiency in clinical applications preferred at time of hire. Incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires repetitive motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, reading, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time. Spends time with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, copier and telephone.

This position reports to department leadership.
