The professional revenue cycle manager is a key member of the AtlantiCare revenue cycle team who will be directly involved in designing, implementing and improving revenue cycle processes and controls that enhance operational efficiencies throughout the AtlantiCare operational areas. This position will be responsible for managing all professional revenue cycle vendors, ensuring that the vendor's performance meets AtlantiCare expectations. This position will analyze, troubleshoot and measure performance for processes affecting the revenue cycle activities (i.e., patient access, patient accounting, patient experience) to maximize the performance and integrity of the revenue cycle process.
This individual will determine opportunities for improvement and facilitate process improvement teams to affect change to achieve revenue cycle best practices and ensure consistency and compliance throughout the organization. This position is responsible for professional accounts receivable, including monitoring, reporting and developing action plans for improvement
The professional revenue cycle manager supports organizational values through quality patient experience, teamwork, integrity, respect and patient safety.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred. Major in business, finance or health administration preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Not applicable.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year of experience in professional revenue cycle operations. Minimum of five years of experience in a managerial capacity. Strong project management, organizational and communications skills required. Extensive and proficient computer experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel, required. Experience managing one or more departments involving people, process and technology.
