POSITION SUMMARY
The driver/recovery coach is responsible for transporting clients by van for our residential, clinical and medical programs. The driver will also assist in client engagement and ensuring smooth transition into their program. This position is primarily during the day, but the position requires flexibility as overlap between our evening programs, if necessary.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Valid NJ driver's license required. 18 hours of ethics/peer support training and 46 hours of recovery specialist (CCAR) training required.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires repetitive driving, motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, reading, seeing, speaking, standing and sitting the majority of the time. Spends time with such equipment as a computer terminal, fax machine, copier and telephone.
