AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center is seeking a cardiac intensivist to join our dynamic, rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in critical care/pulmonary critical care with experience in cardiac ICU, ultrasonography and mechanical support. This exciting opportunity includes providing critical care management for a 10-bed CTICU with a 6-bed CTICU step-down unit. The intensivist cares for patients with advanced cardiac disease who are undergoing a wide variety of interventions, including percutaneous procedures, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, mechanical support with ECMO, and post-coronary artery bypass surgery. The intensivist additionally works with our active Thoracic Surgery Department, which offers a vibrant lung nodule program and robotic bronchoscopy. The intensivist participates in multidisciplinary rounds with pharmacy, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery and engages in teaching opportunities with our internal medicine residents.
