Detox Residential Registered Nurse - John Brooks Recovery Center - Full Time

Location: Mays Landing, NJ  |  Position Status: Full Time  |  Position Shift: Nights

TITLE: RN, Residential

 

 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of New Jersey.
  • BLS required.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the leadership, the staff nurse is required to perform the job responsibilities and the required knowledge, skills and abilities as set forth in the job descriptions for the clinic nurse, residential nurse and dosing nurse. The staff nurse will be scheduled in the clinic, the residential unit and thin dosing per scheduling needs in those areas.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of New Jersey. BLS required.
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting. Also requires repetitive movement. This employee must be able to read. This position exhibits manual dexterity to operate standard cooking tools and equipment. Essential functions of this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position reports to department leadership.
